The 2025 Toyota Camry keeps edging out its competitors in head-to-head comparisons. One such model is the 2025 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid – and although it’s a fine vehicle, it just can’t hold up to the Toyota sedan. Come to Kerry Toyota to see for yourself what makes this model stand out from the pack.

Performance Details

Both of these models are driven by a hybrid powertrain. The Toyota sedan features a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder DOHC 16-valve engine with variable valve timing, a permanent magnetic electric motor, and a lithium-ion battery that team up to deliver up to 232 combined horsepower. The Hyundai model can provide up to 192 horsepower with its 2.0-liter GDI hybrid engine.

For enhanced performance, the Toyota vehicle comes with an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission, front-wheel drive or electronic on-demand all-wheel drive options, and drive mode select with Sport, Eco, Normal, and EV modes.

Safety and Driver Assistance Technology

You’ll get great technology inside both of these vehicles, with each of them offering a 12.3-inch touchscreen and Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity. However, the safety and driver assistance package propels the 2025 Toyota Camry to the winner’s circle. Its standard Toyota Safety Sense™ 3.0 suite includes:

  • Pre-collision system with pedestrian detection
  • Full-speed range dynamic radar cruise control
  • Lane departure alert with steering assist
  • Lane tracing assist
  • Road sign assist
  • Automatic high beams
  • Proactive driving assist

The Toyota model also includes a full array of available features to choose from, including a panoramic view monitor, traffic jam assist, and front and rear parking assist with automatic braking.
